2013 Discover Architecture Summer School provided a comprehensive overview of the learning activities and experiences
The primary aim of the Discover Architecture Summer School was to expose students in trasition between schools and career to some of the incredible opportunities offered by studying architecture. It presented events to listen and talk to leading architects and see how they work and think. It included an exercise of step-by-step, through the design of your first building at university, using novel design processes and cutting edge digital tools. In the process student saw how we at UTS integrate new digital technologies into all our teaching and research activities. Our hope was that this glimpse into what it is like to be an architect will not only give students more to think about when they consider their future.
